  • We will need to get in touch with you during the summer. If you do not have an email or phone, please give us the name and contact information of a reliable relative, neighbor, teacher, or friend who can pass information on to you during the summer.
  • III. Housing

  • During the 10-day Pacific Islander Summer Bridge Program, all participants will live in the dorms at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. At the conclusion of the program, participants will move to their self-arranged housing. Those who have applied for and were approved for UH Hilo Student Housing will be able to move directly into their assigned room. All others will need to move to their housing.
  • IV. Essay

  • To help us better serve students who are selected for the Pacific Islander Summer Bridge Program, we ask that applicants answer the following questions in a 250-word essay. 1) BIOGRAPHY: Tell us about yourself, where you're from, what school you graduated from, any leadership roles you've participated, awards you've won, what you consider important to you, etc. 2) ASPIRATIONS: Describe why participating in the Pacific Islander Summer Bridge Program is important to your future educational goals and career aspirations.
